We are recruiting for an ambitious, professional, resilient and respectful:

Additional Learning Support (ALS) Administrator

Salary up to £21,933 per annum with Local Government Pension Scheme, or £26,890 per annum if accessing full flexible pay options.

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

Duties:

  • Working under the guidance of the Head of ALS, ensure that the College has the ability to meet the needs of all SEN and EHCP learners.
  • Support the co-ordination of an effective and efficient Additional Learning Support service to students and staff of the College.
  • Ensure that all EHCP students have timely reviews and comply fully with external agency requirements.
  • Support the co-ordination and administration processes of the Additional Learning Support service for learners in order to facilitate successful completion of their chosen course of study.

Skills/experience:

  • Highly motivated professional with a range of strong administration skills.
  • Experience of working with young people 16+ years in an education sector is desirable.
  • Good organisational skills with ability to organise own workload and able to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Good standard of computer literacy and have a good knowledge of the Microsoft office suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to include; communication, adaptability and flexibility.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum GCSE grade 4 / C in English & Maths or equivalent.
  • Appropriate level 3 qualification or equivalent in a related field.
  • Level 2 qualification in learning support or equivalent is desirable.
  • Willingness to work towards relevant qualifications for the post as required.
