At Eastleigh College we offer an extensive range of recognised professional development qualifications to develop your staff, and improve your business performance. We are an accredited centre for many qualifications across a variety of business disciplines including HR, Management, Plumbing and Accountancy.
Where other training providers may only be able to offer courses within one industry area, we aim to provide a holistic solution across your entire company, which will include any support areas such as Finance or Human Resources. Plus we know that our learners find our training valuable too, with the College currently ranked 20th out of 215 General FE Colleges in the county for Learner Satisfaction, with a score of 88.7%.
As well as boosting staff morale, a professionally recognised qualification will equip learners with the confidence, knowledge and skills needed to help drive the business forward in today's competitive market.
Investing in training can boost a business by improving staff retention and performance, as well as increasing efficiency and productivity.
Some courses offered by the College also allow access to professional body memberships, which provide external recognition not just for the employee, but for the organisation as a whole. In addition, it will offer reassurance to customers that they are dealing with a reputable company. Some of our current memberships include:
John Mcmurray-Williams recently won a signed Southampton shirt and the chance to have a private backstage tour of Southampton Football club, including the home dressing room. John entered the competition after attending the Eastleigh College and St Mary’s Training Centre stand, who were running the competition, at Southampton Business EXPO at The Ageas Bowl.
Floristry student Rebecca Gillett has been awarded the renowned City and Guilds Medal for Excellence, making her one of sixty-one winners worldwide. Rebecca was recently presented her award by Councillor Bruce Tennent, The Mayor of Eastleigh, at the College’s Annual Awards Ceremony.
Eastleigh College recently hosted a festive Christmas Jumper Day, which in total raised a fantastic total of £200 for charity! All funds raised will be donated to the chosen college charity, Child Bereavement UK.
