Congratulations, you’ve got an interview, all the information regarding your interview is
detailed on your interview invite. Different courses have different types of interviews, some
have an assessment and others don’t. You will find this information in your letter – so make
sure you read it, carefully. If you’re not sure, give us a call 023 8091 1000.
Remember this is your interview. Of course, you can be dropped off and met afterwards, but
we’re afraid that parents, friends and pets aren’t able to accompany you. Regardless of the
course that you are interviewing for, you will meet with the tutor, and have a discussion just
with them.
You can also expect:
- To be asked about the course. Take a look online at www.eastleigh.ac.uk and you’ll be able to find all the information you need there.
- To have thought about where you’d like to do your work experience. A large number of our courses have work experience embedded in them. Think about what sectors you could ask to work with.
- We’ll want to know about your career aspirations…so be ready to talk about where you see yourself in the future.
- We will also want to know why the course interests you and what is it that made you apply for it.
Do not be afraid to ask for a different interview for a second course if you are undecided. We always try to inform you whether you have been successful in your interview on the day, sometimes however this is not possible, so we will write to you to advise you of the next steps.
