We appreciate that as parents, you are invested in the progress your child is making.
All Eastleigh College learners are assigned a personal tutor who will monitor and review their personal development, education progress and attendance at regular intervals. Reviews will cover key areas to help learners maximise their potiential and develop, whilst studying their programme. Typically, this may include:
- Attendance and punctuality
- General behaviour
- Working to deadlines
- Quality of work
- The College's workplace values
- Achieving higher grades
- Skills and knowledge
- Personal development
Their tutor will be your main point of contact at the college, and will be happy to discuss any questions or queries you have arising from the reviews.
Keeping Informed
Parents, Guardians and Learners will have access to ProPortal, our on-line learning plan. This contains up-to-date information on progress, attendance and performance.
A parent information evening will take place at the start of the academic year, with half termly and termly progress updates accessed via our internal system, ProPortal. Progress review letters which are also sent directly to your home address.
