Once you know the course you would like to take, please fill in an online application form using this website. There are two ways to do this.

1 - Click the ‘apply now’ button at the top of this page, or within the main navigation menu of this website, then:

  • Search for the course you would like to apply for

  • Click the relevant course box from the results

  • Choose your start date from the pop-up box that will show, by clicking 'apply' next to the one which is applicable to you

2 - Go to the relevant course page on this website and click the 'apply' button at the bottom of the page, against the time and date option that you would like to study.

Both options will then take you to our online application form. Once you have filled in the requested information, ensuring that all of the mandatory fields are complete, click 'submit your application' and it will be sent through to our admissions team.

Please note that you will not be fully enrolled on a course until you have paid any necessary fees and all of your enrolment paperwork has been completed, signed and returned. You will be contacted with this information once the Learner Recruitment team have received and processed your application form.

Entry Requirements

In order to place you on a course of an appropriate level with the ambition of maximising your chances of achieving your qualification, all of our courses have core minimum entry requirements.

These core minimum entry requirements are set out to try and make applying for a course as simple as possible. As the assessment and competency for courses varies widely, each course may also have additional requirements alongside the core minimum entry requirements. In addition to the entry requirements, the majority of our full-time courses and apprenticeships will require an interview with subject specialist staff to ensure you have a good understanding of the course you are applying for.

Adult learners may apply for any of our full time and apprenticeship programmes and your vocational experience will also be taken into consideration alongside existing qualifications.

All learners without a GCSE at grade A*-C or 9-4 in English or Maths will be required, as a condition of the programme, to undertake either a GCSE or Functional Skills programme. Therefore, if you enter a programme with a Grade 3 in English or Maths, you will be required to take English or Maths as well.

If you have any queries about a new or existing application, please contact us on 023 8091 1000 or email BeBetter@eastleigh.ac.uk.
