Eastleigh College update - COVID-19 measures for week commencing Monday 29 November
On Saturday 27th November, the Prime Minister announced new temporary measures following the emergence of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 in the UK. On Sunday 28th November, the Department for Education published updated guidance for Colleges relating to the new temporary measures to slow down the spread of the variant. Therefore, from Monday 29th November 2021, it will be compulsory to wear face masks or coverings when stood up anywhere in College. We continue to encourage staff and learners to test twice weekly using lateral flow device (LFD) tests and to take up the offer of the vaccine, including boosters.
