Thank your teacher by nominating them for a Pearson Teaching Award
Eastleigh College are encouraging parents and learners to consider nominating their teacher or lecturer as an ‘Unsung Hero’ in the Pearson Teaching Awards.
The Pearson Awards are one of the UK’s most prestigious teaching awards and celebrates the impact of education across the country, with Gold winners featuring on the BBC One Show.
Although most of the categories are restricted to nominations from staff working in the education sector, the ‘Unsung Hero’ Award is a special category that recognises nominations from parents and learners.
The ‘Unsung Hero’ Award aims to recognise the everyday heroes working in early years settings, schools and colleges, giving them the thanks they deserve, whether it’s a stand-out teacher, friendly caretaker, playground helper or brilliant office receptionist!
For more information on the ‘Unsung Hero’ category and how you can submit a nomination, please click here.
The deadline for submitting a nomination is Friday 24th February 2023.
