Adult students on a career path are positive about going to university

According to figures recently reported by UCAS, the total number of applicants wishing to start university in September hit a new high. The findings coincide with the results of an exit poll of 250 adult learners from Eastleigh College in which 98% agreed that ‘My course will enable me to develop a new career’.

Lucas wins 'Against All Odds' in Aspiration Awards

Judges in the 2021 NCFE Aspiration Awards selected Lucas Renyard from Eastleigh College as the winner of the ‘Against All Odds’ category, which recognises exceptional learners who have overcome difficult personal circumstances to achieve success in education. Eastleigh College learners, past and present, took part in celebrations giving the industry’s tradespeople the recognition they deserve.

Hospitality and Catering Team winners in national ‘Thank a Teacher Day’ celebrations

The Hospitality and Catering Team at Eastleigh College has been selected from thousands of nominations as one of 102 Pearson National Teaching Silver Award winners. The team was honoured with a Silver Award for FE Team of the Year for their outstanding commitment to changing the lives of the young people they work with every day.
