Eastleigh College update - COVID-19 measures for week commencing Monday 8 November
Following the Hampshire half term and the College’s planned non-teaching week Eastleigh College will be reintroducing stricter COVID-19 measures during a week that will see all onsite learners be tested through the College’s onsite test centre.

Eastleigh College earns its place alongside national refrigeration experts
Eastleigh College is attending several high profile cooling industry events beginning with the Hampshire Refrigeration Society HRS2021 expo, followed by the National ACR and Heat Pump Awards in Manchester where the College and apprentices are shortlisted, and the RAC and IOR Awards in London where apprentices are in the final.

Gas Safety Week 2021 marks busy year for Eastleigh’s Gas Assessment Centre
The eleventh national campaign to raise awareness of gas safety took place last week and marks the end of a busy year at the Gas Assessment Centre (GAC) in Eastleigh where candidates qualify for both home and business ‘gas safe’ registration. Within the past 12 months the BPEC approved assessment centre has been restructured and expanded to accommodate an increased apprentice intake.

MP opens innovative Learner Hub improving access to resources and support services
Local MP Paul Holmes officially opened the Eastleigh College Learner Hub following a £500,000 transformation of existing space. The Learner Hub enables the College to provide all learner support services in one central location. The Hub provides a range of formal and informal learning and private study areas for learners to use with friends for project work.
New BPEC-approved plumbing workshop is set to raise standards in a changing sector
Neil Collishaw, Chief Executive Officer of BPEC, the employer-led training standards organisation for the Plumbing, Heating, Gas and wider Energy Sector, visited the brand-new plumbing workshop at Eastleigh College.
