What opportunities will this course give me?
Training and re-assessment on domestic gas appliances follow, which covers theory knowledge and practical skills, such as the installation, commissioning and fault diagnosis.
What will I be learning?
The CCN 1 CORE assessment covers areas of gas safety. The qualification is nationally recognised and is a legal requirement for those who work in the gas industry on domestic dwellings. The qualification is gained by direct observation assessment of your gas safety competences, which will take place in our approved centre by a qualified assessor. You will be assessed through theory papers and a series of practical tasks. All technical reference documents are provided by the College. The qualified and experienced assessors will put you at ease, and guide you through the assessment programme. Through training you will be updated on all new gas safety aspects and legislation.
This course covers CCN1 (core Gas) CPA1 and 3 appliances (boilers, fires, cookers, etc). If you require additional appliances then this can be done at the same time but will incur an additional fee per appliance. Please contact us for more detail.
