What will I be learning?
Theory behind test equipment and procedures (based on the I.E.E Code of Practice).
• Hands-on use of testing equipment. A C&G 2377 Certificate for inspection and testing of electrical appliances will be awarded on successful completion of the on-line assessment, this is based on knowledge of the Code of Practice and be taken into the exam. The course will include practical and theoretical tasks and assessments. You will be able to demonstrated

Why is this course for me?
The course will include practical and theoretical tasks and assessments.
What do I need to sign up?
Completion of question sheet referencing prior knowledge. Completion of an initial Maths assessment.
Is there anything else I need to know?
This course is for those involved in building service maintenance with a basic background of electrical systems. Or for qualified electricians who presently carry out portable appliance testing and wish to reinforced their knowledge of the subject or gain the formal qualification.
This course may also be suitable for people who are under the supervision of personnel who have previously gained this qualification and have proven competence in this discipline
Paper, pens and candidates can bring their own PAT equipment for advice and guidance on equipment, Code of Practice is provided.
