What opportunities will this course give me?
This programme is for individuals who wish to gain the skills and knowledge required to work in the plumbing industry. On completion of the programme, students can progress onto BPEC Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing, NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 at Eastleigh College, or an Apprenticeship, providing you have gained full-time employment in the plumbing industry.
What will I be learning?
In addition, you must have good attendance and attainment reports from your previous school or college and successfully pass a college interview, showing enthusiasm and motivation to join the programme.
Why is this course for me?
The theory sessions provide you with new technical concepts and safe working practices with the practical sessions consolidating these practices, allowing an opportunity for hands on experience.
What do I need to sign up?
Progression from the BPEC level 1 diploma in Plumbing with 5 GCSEs at grade A*-C / 9-4 including maths and English (English at C/4) or possess an equivalent qualification. In addition, you must have good attendance and attainment reports from your previous school or college and successfully pass a college interview, showing enthusiasm and motivation to join the programme.
Is there anything else I need to know?
You will be required to purchase safety footwear, work trousers/ overalls for the programme, together with text books in the first term.

• Water Regulations Guide, Second Edition 1999 by WRAS - optional
