What are the entry requirements?

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification.

What does this programme involve?

This qualification is designed to develop learners knowledge and understanding across a range of business and administration concepts and skills.

There are 3 mandatory units that are required to be successfully completed and they are:

-Principles of personal responsibilities and working in a business environment
-Principles of providing administrative services
-Principles of managing information and producing documents

And 2 credits must be achieved from the following optional units:

-Principles of supporting change in the business environment
-Principles of supporting business events
-Principles of maintaining stationery stock
-Principles of budgets in a business environment
-Principles of contributing to innovation and change

Learners must successfully demonstrate their achievement of all learning outcomes and assessment criteria of the units.

How is the programme taught and assessed?

Self study, 1:1 support from your assessor.

This qualification is suitable for learners wishing to improve/ develop their knowledge and understanding across a range of basic administrative concepts and practices.

How do I apply?

If you are hoping to undertake a workbased apprenticeship, please be aware that you will need to be employed in a relevant role in industry and your employer must agree to your training.
