What will I be learning?

Learners will be making ceramic items that can be used in the home and garden, or given to family and friends as gifts.
With regards to decoration, we will explore three simple but striking techniques. Slip trailing, oxide washes and sgraffito. These techniques will give multiple possibilities and dynamic outcomes, that can be glazed for safe use with food or liquids.
The making, decoration, glazing as well as the two firings will all take place at Cantell School over the 8-week course.
A College Certificate may be awarded upon successful completion of the course.
