What opportunities will this course give me?
Join us for our Community Learning Open Day and take part in an exciting range of free workshops as part of our Adult Community Learning programme. In these workshops, you will discover or develop new skills, meet new people, and have fun.
All workshops are open to adult learners aged 19 and over and will include all materials/ingredients on the day. There is no limit to how many workshops you can sign up to. Spaces are limited so we do recommend booking as soon as possible.
Please also take a look at our other low cost courses and workshops running later in the year which form part of our Community Learning Programme. What will I be learning?
You will learn about your chosen subject and take part in discussions and practical activities led by an experienced tutor.
Our wide range of workshops will have something for everyone, covering practical skills, creative activities, and new learning opportunities.
Places will be limited and available on a first come, first served basis, so keep an eye out for when our applications open.
Workshops will include:

• Introduction to Holiday French
• Basic Vehicle Checks
• Introduction to Welding
• Relax and Stretch Yoga
• BSL for Beginners
• Haircutting for the Family
Why is this course for me?
Whilst you will not gain a professional qualification, this is a great way to explore your chosen topic and try out a new interest in a supportive and inclusive environment. We provide a safe social space for you to meet new people in the community and learn new skills.

What do I need to sign up?
All workshops are part of our Community Learning Day which has been designed to offer a range of low cost learning opportunities for people in the community. All that is required is an enthusiasm to take part.
Is there anything else I need to know?
Everything you need is included and there are no additional costs anticipated. All materials/ingredients are supplied and you are welcome to take home any creations you make in the workshops.
Workshops are suitable adult learners aged 19 and over.
Please ensure you wear clothing suitable and footwear for the activity being undertaken.

A place on your chosen course is not confirmed until all of the necessary enrolment paperwork is signed and any relevant fees are paid.
