What will I be learning?
This is a one-day workshop for learners who are interested in the potential of this form of fine line printmaking. Learners will have the opportunity to develop a series of final print-based images from one initial printing plate, which they will create within the session.
Using the intaglio press, they will then be able to evolve the image through layering and adding colour and tone to the print-work through intaglio printing techniques and add colour to their images using ink and watercolour mediums.
Final images could be used for a variety of ideas including handmade cards or mounted prints.
