All full-time learners will be allocated a personal tutor who will provide students with support and guidance throughout their time at Eastleigh College. They should be the first point of contact for any help or advice with day to day or long-term needs. Tutor will help to monitor coursework, ensuring studnts are keeping up to date and making progress as expected. They will also help with any personal concerns, and if they can't help, they will source someone who can.
Subject tutor should be the first point of contact for help and advice, and students will be given regular feedback on how they are progressing.
Students will have a minimum of one hours tutorial per week, where they will learn about, and discuss a variety of topics, such as:
- Their own progress and development
- Information and advice on career opportunities
- Further and higher education opportunities
- CV writing and interview preparation
Raising awareness of key issues including:
- Equality and Diversity
- Sexual Health
Students will participate in 1:1 and group reviews with their Tutor to monitor and track their progress. They will also have the opportunity to take part in cross college activities and themed weeks, accessing guest speakers and activities who will talk about a variety of issues and topics which will enhance their college experience.

Individual Learning Plans
All learners on full and substantial part-time courses will have an individual learning plan, which will monitor progress across the course and set targets to help them successfully achieve their qualification(s).
