What will I be learning?
You will learn about a variety of nutritious ingredients and their benefits in a vegetarian diet. We will create delicious recipes using these ingredients and combine flavours to get the best from your non meat diet.
We will cover a selection of recipes such as:
Indonesian Gado Gado vegetables with rice noodles
Moroccan aubergine with spicy cous cous
Spinach, ricotta and butternut squash cannelloni
Thai style cauliflower fried rice
A selection of vegetable pates
All the classes are conducted in a relaxed and friendly manner.
Why is this course for me?
The course will be practical with students watching and tasting demonstrations and then cooking dishes themselves. All completed dishes can be taken home.
What do I need to sign up?
There are no formal entry requirements in respect of this course.
Is there anything else I need to know?
Please bring a note book and pen to the first class. Students will need to bring knives, apron and oven gloves, as well as the required ingredients.
Students will be given an ingredients list approximately 7-10 days before the start of the first class.
Please ensure your course is running before purchasing ingredients.
Students will be responsible for the purchase of ingredients each week. A list of what is required will be provided at the end of each lesson.
Please note that all courses are subject to minimum numbers and course descriptions may be subject to change. A place on your chosen course is not confirmed until all of the necessary enrolment paperwork is signed and any relevant fees are paid.
