What are the entry requirements?

There are no formal requirements in respect of this course, although students must have reasonable IT skills.

What does this programme involve?

This course is suitable for those students who have no previous experience of social media and assumes that you currently do not have a Facebook or Twitter account, or that you do not know how to use them.

Starting from the very beginning, it gives students an understanding of how to use social media to build a network of followers and develop your online business presence. Topics include how to set up a Facebook and Twitter account, how to manage them and avoid some of the most common pitfalls.

A College Certificate will be awarded upon request after successful completion of the course.

How is the programme taught and assessed?

You will learn through demonstrations, discussions and practical tasks.

What else do I need to know?

This course is suitable for those running a business looking to use Facebook and Twitter for company enhancement.

Please bring pen and paper to the first class.

Students are responsible for the purchase of materials relevant to the course.
