If you have a passion for our beautiful city and would like to help visitors make the most of their time here, the Visitor Information Centre has just the job for you!
Ensuring that our visitors and residents receive an outstanding level of service, you’ll be part of our award winning busy and friendly team assisting with visitor enquiries, retail souvenir sales, accommodation enquiries and guided tour bookings.
You will work with tourism businesses across the Winchester District and other members of the tourism team to support the visitor economy and encourage visits to the district.
Reliable and enthusiastic with a positive and flexible attitude, you’ll have an excellent knowledge of Winchester and the surrounding area. Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, you’ll also have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, a good telephone manner and an excellent approach to customer care. The ability to speak a foreign language would be an advantage.
We are looking for a weekend member of staff to join our team working every Saturday throughout the year and Saturdays and Sundays from May – August and throughout December.
