DP World Southampton needs a team of highly skilled enginering technicians to maintain and repair a varied fleet of mechanical and electrical equipment to support the daily operations of the business. The engineering team carry out regular planned maintenance tasks to keep the fleet fully operational and reliable, including the use of specialist testing equipment such as ultrasound, thermography an vibration analysis. Technicians will attend breakdowns of equipment and repair on the spot where possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiasic, self motivated and ambitious individual to work within a fast paced and varied engineering environment. DP World Southampton supports Apprentices to achieve a 4 year apprenticeship in engineering maintenance.

A natural ability in craft/tool skills

Evidence of prior pratical skills would be advantaeous.
