To a full refrigeration qualification at level 2.

What are the entry requirements?

No initial requirements except that of an interest in RAC systems.

What does this programme involve?

You will be taught the following:

- How a system works and is controlled
- Components
- Refrigerants
- Operating Conditions
- Basic Brazing
- Setting Controls
- Maintenance and Fault Finding

How is the programme taught and assessed?

The course is taught with a mixture of practical and theory.
Assessment is by use of the 'F' Gas C & G qualification 'Safe Handling of Refrigerants' and you will be issued a C & G Cat 1 F Gas certificate and a College CPD certificate.

What else do I need to know?

This is a 5 day introductory course for new entrants to the industry, to understand how an RAC system works.

Safety footwear, Notebook & Pen.
