Emotional or Mental Health Support
Having a mental health need, or concern about your mental health should be no barrier to your education. College staff are trained to identify and support learners with such needs. Your Personal Tutor is there to discuss any difficulties you may have, and where necessary a support plan can be put in place to help you cope with college life.
If you are finding things particularly difficult and feel you need someone to talk to, our counselling team can help. They can set up regular one to one sessions with you, offering a range of appointment times throughout the week. To access this service you can either speak to your Personal Tutor who can make a referral for you or alternatively you can contact the counselling team directly on 023 8091 1127 or 07535 056854 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our Chaplain offers a listing service for those of all faiths and those of none. If you feel you need to talk things through with someone, the Chaplain can offer that support. You can either visit the drop in or email the Chaplain for a specific appointment time at email@example.com.

The College has a zero tolerance to bullying. All incidents of bulling will be investigated and, where necessary, addressed through the Student Disciplinary Procedure.
Students should talk to their personal tutor or the College Counsellor if they are, or they know of others that are being bullied. Students can also use the College's anti-bullying 'Speak Up' service, with details advertised around the College or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, Transgender
The LGBT Society is for students of all sexual identities. The club meets socially once a week. If you are interested in joining the club or finding out more, visit the club's noticeboard next to the Dance Studio in A Block.
