Art, Media and Design


Eve studies the Fashion and Textiles pathway in Art, Media and Design and is planning on going to University to study fashion. Earlier this year Eve entered the Clothes Show Live Young designers competition and her design was chosent to feature at the show! Read more >>


Jonah studied the Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art, before applying to the Slade School of Art in London to study BA Fine Art. His favourite techniques are oil painting, film photography and film making.


Beauty Therapy


Natasha joined Eastleigh College on a Hair and Beauty course before deciding to focus solely on Beauty and Spa Therapy. After completing work experience, she gained employment as a Spa Therapist at a 5* hotel. Read more >>



George began College by studying a Level 1 Bricklaying course. He has now gained an Apprenticeship with a local building firm and is studying towards his Level 2. He has a twin brother who studies Carpentry, and they plan to set up their own building services business once qualified. Read more >>

Built Environment


Justin studied a Level 3 Diploma in Construction and Built Environment, and now studies Civil Engineering at Bristol University. He is excited to get involved in national engineering projects after graduating. Read more >>


Dan started a Level 3 Built Environment and Construction Apprenticeship and has progressed onto a Higher Apprenticeship in Construction Management to develop his career. Read more >>

Business Administration


Hennie studied Business Administration as part of her Apprenticeship working as a Receptionist. She has now worked her way up through the company and is working as a Marketing Coordinator. She loves the role and wishes to progress in the marketing field. Read more >>


Jamie did an Apprenticeship in Business Administration while working at Eastleigh Borough Council. He now has a job there as a HR Coordinator and really enjoys what we does - he hopes to work his way up progressing to higher roles. Read more >>


Luke studied Level 3 Business Administration, before securing a role as a Sales Administrator at Liberty Leasing. Within 2 years of working for the firm, Luke was promoted to Trainee Account Manager, and he hopes to reach Senior Account Manager in the next few years! Read more >>



Steph studied Level 3 Health and Social Care at Eastleigh College before going to Bournemouth University to study Adult Nursing. Steph now works as a Staff Nurse on a respiratory ward at Winchester Hospital. Read more >>

Carpentry runs in Phoebe's family, so she couldn't wait to start learning the skills and techniques after school. Phoebe has an Apprenticeship with Barratt Homes, but in the future would like to specialise in furniture making. Read more >>



Ashesh studies Hospitality and Catering, and would like to work at a Michelin star restaurant. Ashesh recently competed at the WorldSkills competitions and got all the way through to the Skills Show national final!  Read more >>


Carmen has always wanted to work in the Hospitality & Catering industry; her parents own a Catering company, where she works part-time around College. Carmen particularly enjoys working events, and has also discovered a talent for mixology! Read more >>


Jessica studied Hospitality and Catering and secured a full-time job as a result of the relationships she built with the College’s network of employers. Studying at Eastleigh College appealed to Jessica because of the variety the course offered, exposing her to both front of house and behind the scenes in the kitchens. Read more >>




Joey studies Level 3 Diploma in Dance and after completion hopes to go onto University and become a choreographer or a dance teacher. He has been dancing since he was 10, and regularly competes in competitions with his dance school. Read more >>



Lucy started at Eastleigh College doing an Apprenticeship in Level 3 Dental Nursing because of her passion to work with people. After completing her Apprenticeship, Lucy is now a Dental Nurse at a local dental surgery looking to progress her career even further. Read more >> 



Jordon studied Level 3 Engineering before joining Warsash Maritime Academy to specilise in Electrical Engineering. He is now a qualified Electro-technical Engineer working on ships for Holland America Line. Read more >>

Event Management


Ellen started A-levels at another College, but felt like the classroom environment was too similar to school. She is now studying Event Management, and wants to work in the music industry organising tours and festivals. Read more >>


Luke started Eastleigh College on the ICVS course, since he wasn't sure what he wanted to do. After completing an Apprenticeship in Business Administration in the College's Reception, Luke went on to study Event Management. Luke hopes to further his qualifications and work in a customer-facing role. Read more >>

Gas and Plumbing


Thomas started at Eastleigh College studying Level 2 Gas and Plumbing, and has progressed to gain an Advanced Apprenticeship in Gas at a local firm. Once fully Gas Safe Registered, Thomas plans on travelling to Australia and setting up his own company! Read more >>



Stephanie decided to study Hairdressing after leaving school and working full-time for several years. She wanted a flexible career, and she now runs her Hairdressing business from home. Read more >>

Hair and Media Make-up


Maddii studies Level 2 Hair and Media Make-up and is staying at Eastleigh College to complete her Level 3 qualification. She has been involved in some exciting projects with Eastleigh Youth Theate, doing make-up for actors in Les Miserables and the Pirates of Penzance. Read more >>

Motor Vehicle


Ashley studied Levels 1 to 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, before getting an Apprenticeship with Winchester Skoda. He completed the Skoda Apprenticeship at their training centre, and is now a qualified technician. Read more >>


Luke, who studies Vehicle Technology at Eastleigh College has landed himself a part-time job in a local garage and is looking forward to progressing onto Level 3. Read More >>

Public Services


Jed joined Eastleigh College on the Gateway to Work course after he didn't achieve good GCSE grades. He progressed onto a Level 3 Public Services Diploma and now studies Criminology at Southampton Solent University. Read more >>

Refrigeration & Air Conditioning


Daniel tried several different trades before choosing Air Conditioning, and currently works as an Air Conditioning Engineer Apprentice at Ensys. In 2016, he was a finalist for the ACR Trainee of the Year Award. Read more >>


Jack considered all of his options and decided an Apprenticeship in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning played to his strengths and was an opportunity to earn while learning. Read more >>



Chris left College to work in Care, before becoming interested in a career in teaching. Working as a teaching assistant, he decided to complete the Cert.Ed course and then go on to study Education at Bournemouth University. Read more >>

Travel and Tourism


Leah studied Level 2 Travel and Tourism and now works at Southampton Airport as a Passenger Service Agent.  Read more >>
