What opportunities will this course give me?

Learners will be able to progress on to Spanish Beginners through Eastleigh College.

What will I be learning?

Holiday Spanish includes basic greetings, ordering food and drinks, and asking for and giving directions. You will also learn every day things such as where you come from and what your job is. You will also be able to tell the time and recognise numbers 1 to 100.

You will gain the confidence to speak Spanish whilst on holiday, the ability to order food and ask for directions to public places.

An Eastleigh College certificate will be awarded on request.

Why is this course for me?

Learners will be taught through dialogue primarily, though there will also be reading and writing tasks and handouts.

What do I need to sign up?

There are no formal entry requirements in respect of this course; it is suitable for anyone wishing to learn basic Spanish which may be used on a trip to Spain or any other Spanish speaking country.

Is there anything else I need to know?

Please bring a note book and pen to every class.

Learners will be responsible for the purchase of materials relevant to the course.
