Covid-19 Update

Given the Covid-19 pandemic, the College calendar has been changed for the first term of the 2020/21 academic year and has introduced a two-week October half term break. This break is from Monday 19 to Friday 30 October during which time the College is closed to Learners. The College office will be open from Monday 19 to Friday 23 October (telephone/email enquiries open) and closed from Monday 26 October to Friday 30 October (telephone/email enquiries closed until Monday 2 November). From 2 November we are increasing the areas in which a face mask or covering is required to be worn.

What opportunities will this course give me?

Students will continue to develop their yoga practise and ability.

What will I be learning?

Hatha Yoga For All are comprehensive classes that offer an introduction to, or continued study of, all approaches to yoga. Sessions will include Pranayama (breathing exercises), Asanas (postures) and Meditation.
Hatha Yoga is easily adapted to suit all levels of ability. Regular practise of Yoga will bring you improved flexibility, concentration, balance and energy levels and help you to achieve a calmer persona.

A College Certificate will be awarded upon request.

Why is this course for me?

All students will be expected to participate after suitable demonstration and instruction from the tutor.

What do I need to sign up?

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, all are welcome. However, if you have a medical condition that may affect your suitability for this course, please consult your doctor before enrolling.

Is there anything else I need to know?

This course is suitable for all ages and abilities.

You will need to bring a non-slip mat, a blanket to keep warm during relaxation and a water bottle. Please wear loose clothing and do not eat within 2 hours of the class.

No other costs are anticipated.
