What does this programme involve?

On the first session of the course the students will have a demonstration of a hair cut and instruction on Health and Safety. Advice is given on equipment.

Throughout the course several handouts about haircutting will be given. Advice can be given on other hairdressing procedures. On further weeks the students will be asked to bring a model to practice on, but students may just want to watch others work.

Please note it is the responsibility of the student to provide the model and we cannot accept any responsibility for the outcome should the result not be to the model's satisfaction.

The students will be able to do basic haircuts such as bob cut and a basic layer cut.

A College Certificate will be awarded on request.

The students will learn by watching, listening and reading notes and practising on their models.

What else do I need to know?
