What will I be learning?
Simple Clothes Alterations covers things such as sewing on a button, taking up a hem or taking something in.
You will learn some simple techniques to get you started.
Why is this course for me?
This course is taught and assessed through practical demonstration and hands on activities.
What do I need to sign up?
This course is suitable anyone wishing to make simple alterations to their clothes. Complete beginners are welcome but knowledge of the sewing machine would be an advantage.
Is there anything else I need to know?
Please bring a notebook and pen, at least one garment that needs a simple alteration, and a sewing kit including scissors, pins, needles, tape measure. Please also bring a sewing machine and manual if you have one.
Students will be responsible for the purchase of any necessary materials relating to the course.
