What career opportunities can this lead to?

Our experienced workshops will suit those familiar with working with clay and will allow you the opportunity to develop your work as you wish.

What are the entry requirements?

Students enrolling on these courses must have completed a previous course, ideally with Eastleigh College.

What does this programme involve?

These workshops, for experienced students only, offer students the opportunity to use a fully equipped pottery studio with individual tuition. A range of pottery techniques, including glazing and decorative techniques, will also be taught.

Students will be making ceramic items that can be used in the home and garden.

A College Certificate is awarded for every course on request.

How is the programme taught and assessed?

All students will complete practical work. There will be some tutor demonstrations and individual tuition.

What else do I need to know?

We run courses for absolute beginners and students with some experience. Please check the course details and enrol on the most suitable one for you.

Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes for a craft workshop environment.

Students will be responsible for the purchase of materials (particularly the clay) relevant to the course.
