What does this programme involve?

Our Pottery Workshops for Beginners are basic courses suitable for those with little or no experience of working with clay. You will learn hand building techniques and how to use the potter's wheel. Glazing and decorative techniques will also be taught.

Students will be making ceramic items that can be used in the home and garden.

A College Certificate may be awarded.

How is the programme taught and assessed?

All students will complete practical work. There will be some tutor demonstrations and individual tuition.

What else do I need to know?

We run courses for absolute beginners and students with some experience. Please check the course details and enrol on the most suitable one for you.
