What are the entry requirements?

There are no formal entry requirements in respect of this course. This course is ideal for anyone who would like to kick start the new year and achieve a healthier you!

What does this programme involve?

This course is ideal for a beginner or intermediate cook. The course is a great way to introduce eating well and learn healthy cookery in a fun environment. You will be taught how to make divine foods that are low in calories and full of flavour.

The dishes will be easy to prepare and the chef lecturer will show you knife skills and how to prepare food correctly.

You will learn to make a nutritious winter salad and healthy eating options for a soup, meals, and a dessert/shake; proving eating healthily can be enjoyable!

Recipes will be included for the day so you can go away and make healthy nutritious meals at home.

How is the programme taught and assessed?

The course is essentially a practical class with hands on learning. There will be some group and individual instruction with demonstrations.

What else do I need to know?

Students will provided with an ingredients list approximately 7 days before the start of the first class.

Students will be responsible for the purchase of materials relevant to the course. Ingredients need to be purchased by students in advance of the lesson from the list provided.
