What will I be learning?
You will be taught how to make figures of animals and people using modelling icing.
You will learn how to colour and work with the medium, as well as some hints and tips to create your own effective cake toppers!
An Eastleigh College certificate can be provided on completion of this course.
Why is this course for me?
This course is essentially a practical class with hands on learning. There will be some group and individual instruction and demonstration.
There will be information sheets provided which you can take away with you for future reference. The tutor will demonstrate and describe each model, then support you while you make each figure.
What do I need to sign up?
This course if suitable for anyone interested in moulding sugarcraft figures for cake decoration. There are no qualifications or experience needed to attend.
Is there anything else I need to know?
You will require a small sharp knife, a pair of small scissors (such as nail scissors), a suitable container to take items home and a small craft paint brush if you have one. If you have any sugarcraft tools, please bring them along.
There are no additional costs associated with this course. All materials will be provided for you.
