What are the entry requirements?
There are no formal entry requirements for this course; it is suitable for anyone who would like to make edible festive treats and gifts.
What does this programme involve?
'Tis the season to be jolly! This workshop will focus on making festive treats either for yourself or to give as gifts.
During the session, we will be making:-
- Luxury gift wrapped Christmas pudding truffles
- Advent ginger biscuits piped with royal icing
- Luxury orange mince pies made with butter pastry and cream cheese filling
There will also be festive recipes given out at the end of the session for you to try at home.
How is the programme taught and assessed?
The course is essentially a practical class with hands on learning. There will be some group and individual instruction, including demonstrations.
What else do I need to know?
Students will be responsible for the purchase of materials relevant to the course.
Ingredients need to be purchased by students in advance of the lesson from the list provided.
A list of ingredients and items to bring on the day will be sent out approximately one week before your class.
