What are the entry requirements?

There are no formal entry requirements in respect of this course; however, a level of knowledge and understanding will be expected. Ideally students will have attended the Introduction to Sugarcraft course.

What does this programme involve?

This course will build on the skills taught in 'Introduction to Sugarcraft'. Students will learn how to professionally decorate a cake with sugarpaste and finish off with decorations.

You will be taught different ways and techniques to cover a cake and how to make a range of decorative items for it.

Hygiene, and health and safety will also be taught.

How is the programme taught and assessed?

This is a practical ''hands on'' course taught under the guidance of the tutor.

What else do I need to know?

Students are responsible for the purchase of ingredients/materials necessary for the course. For the first class please bring a notebook, pen and a small pair of embroidery scissors.
