What will I be learning?
You will learn how to produce porcelain flowers with an experienced porcelain flower crafter. On this one day introductory workshop you will be taught how to colour, cut and mould the porcelain clay to create a Cattleya orchid flower. This flower can be made into a broach for yourself, or as a lovely gift for family or friends.
A College Certificate may be awarded on successful completion of the workshop.
Why is this course for me?
You will learn hands on how to produce your own porcelain orchid flower. There will be some tutor demonstrations and individual tuition.
What do I need to sign up?
There are no formal entry requirements in respect of this course. This course is perfect for complete beginners who want to learn how to make beautiful, realistic porcelain flowers.
Is there anything else I need to know?
Please wear clothing and shoes appropriate for a craft environment.
Students are responsible for the purchase of any other materials relevant to the course.
No other additional costs are anticipated.
