What will I be learning?
The course will cover:
*Basic understanding of how a digital camera works
*Composition
*Lighting
*Downloading
*Image Manipulation
*Printing
You will develop a basic skill in photographic techniques. You will be provided with underpinning knowledge of the photographic process and gain a sound foundation for further study. You will understand how to use your Digital Camera and equipment effectively and safely and essentially take better photographs.
A College Certificate is awarded on request.
Why is this course for me?
You will learn from a mixture of theory and practical work, but the course will be essentially practical with as much hands on as possible.
What do I need to sign up?
There are no formal entry requirements in respect of this course.
Is there anything else I need to know?
The course is suitable for anyone who wishes to join a structured course that will teach them the basic skills to become a competent digital photographer.
Please bring a pen and paper to class, the camera and cables you intend to use, along with the manual if you have it. Please note that any equipment brought into class is the responsibility of the learner whilst on college or venue premises.
Materials as used. It is the students' responsibility to purchase the required consumable materials.
