What is Work Experience?

- A chance to develop and practice new skills and become ‘career ready’.
- It can help you to focus on your next steps after Eastleigh College.
College expectations:
As part of your course you will need to do a minimum of 35 hours of work experience in your relevant subject area.
How do I find a work experience placement?
Start googling companies that you would like to work with. You can email or give them a call to see if they could offer you a placement.
Once you have found a placement, tell your tutor straight away so that the work experience team can contact the employer to confirm the placement.
