From Monday 29th November face masks / coverings are compulsory when stood up anywhere in College

 

Eastleigh College is part of the Southern Universities Network (SUN), which aims to increase the number of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in higher education. SUN comprises a number of higher education providers, further education colleges, schools, and other organisations in Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Through the SUN serivce we offer activities, advice and information including visits to university open events, guest speakers and workshops on: preparing for interviews, completing a UCAS application, and researching an apprenticeship.

My name is Fiona Thomson and I am the new SUN Progression Mentor at Eastleigh College and I am located in the Learner Hub. I can provide:

  • 1:1 Mentoring
  • Help with UCAS applications and Personal Statements
  • Information about Student Finance
  • Information and guidance about where to study, discuss career goals and opportunities
  • Provide updates on trips, tours, activities and relevant events and workshops
