Who are we?

We are Projects - an independent café, kitchen, and shop! We pride ourselves on our fresh and vibrant menu, as well as our timeless antiques and hand-crafted goods. We aim to be as sustainable and ethical kitchen and store. We love creating unique dishes with seasonal produce!

We are looking for creativity and passion for cooking! Executing, and delivering beautiful soul food. We need someone who is dedicated to work and learn with us whilst helping us to grow our small business.

 

You will receive full training, and an opportunity to make our kitchen your own!

 

You must be well prepared, calm and able to manage busy periods. Must have a good knowledge of food-hygiene and HACCP procedures.

 

 

-You must be committed to learning and developing your skills.

 

-Have either experience or a good understanding of the hospitality industry.

 

-Have great customer service skills.

 

-Punctual and reliable, always showing up to work with a good positive attitude.

 

-Have impeccable communication skills between yourself and our team.

 

-Work well within our team.

 

-Have real passion and enthusiasm for good food!

 

-Ideally experience within a commercial kitchen environment.

 

What you’ll do

-Food prep

-Keeping the kitchen clean and within regulations

-Knowledge of HACCP procedures

-Food hygiene certificate

-Baking and making scrumptious cakes and specials

- Manage time efficiently between full service and quieter periods

 

Once you’re confident within our kitchen you’ll go onto

-Opportunity to write seasonal menu’s

-Order and source ingredients

-Run a full breakfast, brunch, and lunch service of up to 40/60 covers

 

Around 35 hours a week

Hours 9am-4pm

Wednesday – Sunday
