Hockley Golf Club are seeking a permanent Chef.

The candidate must have a minimum qualification of NVQ level 1-3 and Food Hygiene level 2. Salary of £23,000 - £26,00 per year, depending on experience.

Hours: 40hrs per week, over 5 days, which will include weekend & some evening work.

Hockley Golf Club is a private member’s golf club. We are a premier golf club offering excellent golf facilities and catering to our members, their guests, visitors, and external functions.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

General Kitchen & Staff Management

  • Ensure the efficient and smooth running of the kitchen.
  • Promote and maintain good working relationships throughout the catering team.
  • Make sure that the kitchen is clean and organised, ensuring all Environmental Health and Club food policies are adhered to.
  • Provide guidance to kitchen staff in upholding high culinary standards
  • Ensure that best food practices and kitchen hygiene protocols are adhered to

General

Cover some aspects of the role of the Bar and Catering Manager as appropriate and as directed.

Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Bar and Catering Manager.
