Goldups Lane is a boutique marekting and design agency. We a looking for a Junior Design Assistant to come and join our growing team to support the studio and design side of the business. This position is ideal for someone who is looking for an opportunity to develop their skills on the job and grow with the company into the design role as the department expands.

As an entry level position, we are looking for candidates who are truly passionate about design and entertainment looking to step into the industry. Due to this, a degree in design is not essential. Salary dependent on experience.

Potential dduties include:

Being part of the Studio, responsible for editing artwork to a variety of sizes. 

Preparing posters and leaflets for printing.

Coordinating with venues on their print requirements.

Proofing and checking design materials before sign-off.

Dabbling in a variety of different design concepts, working at varying sizes and formats.

Working with the Studio Manager to meet deadlines.

Auditing websites for shows to make sure things are being displayed correctly.

Developing into more creatively independent tasks to the needs of clients.

 

Skills required:

Good written English

Suitable PC set up to work from home

A particular eye for detail and alignment

A fair understanding of spreadsheets

The ability to think outside the box

Strong communicator

Passionate and driven.

Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop/InDesign is vital.

Other Adobe Creative Suite skills is desirable.
