The Revenue Apprenticeship is an exciting and varied opportunity that will working alongside your colleagues in the revenue management department, where you will be responsible for proactively leading and carrying out analytical research using historical data to identify revenue optimising opportunities.

 You will play a key role in the implementation of our product Launches and Campaign cycles using proven analytical methods and skills to consistently improve and pioneer new ways of working. All while gaining exposure to the workings of a leading travel company and obtaining a Data Analytics qualification at Solent University.

For at least two days a week, you’ll be based out of our fantastic offices in the heart of Southampton, less than two hours from central London. In our hybrid working environment, you can also expect to balance this with time spent working remotely every week, and then one a week at Solent University (term time only).

 About You

To be considered as a Revenue Analyst you will also need:

  • strong communication skills
  • an analytical mind-set
  • highly motivated individual with a high attention to detail
  • GCSE in Maths and English C or 4 and above
  • A level in STEM subject or a degree, or Level 2 or 3 apprenticeship in computing or software

If your application is successful you will be asked to complete a one-way video interview, followed by an in-person assessment day at our Carnival House offices on Wednesday 10th August 2022.

If this role requires you to visit and/or work on a Carnival UK ship, the successful candidate needs to be fully vaccinated (with a WHO or MHRA approved two-dose COVID-19 vaccination course or single-dose Janssen COVID-19 vaccine), including any relevant booster vaccinations. This is to maintain a safe environment onboard and reduce the risk of outbreaks, to protect our crew and our Guests. It’s also required for ships to dock and enjoy shoreside visits in many Ports of Call on global itineraries. This requirement will be under regular review.

About the Team

Sitting within our P&O function with a goal of becoming Britain's #1 holiday choice, the revenue management department manages the pricing of our products to make sure that the maximum revenue is obtained. The department also plans the destination and future itineraries of each of our ships, as well as managing our fly cruise offering and land products. This department is exceptionally commercial in nature and collaborates considerably with the wider business. Setting the strategy, vision and future for how the business will maximise revenues.
