This apprenticeship is perfect for those looking to enter the insurance sector, as well as those progressing within the industry who have little experience in broking, claims or underwriting.
Insurance practitioners typically work in one of three distinct sub occupations:
Insurance Underwriting Assistants - Assess the risk of insuring something and will provide guidnce to others in the team.
Junior Insurance Brokers - Represent their client;s needs to an insurance provider and look to support sales maximisation.
Insurance Claims Handlers/Junior Loss Adjusters - Asjusters are the first point of contact on the customer journey managing the life cycle of a claim to conclusion.
This apprenticeship standard provides the relevant knowledge, skills and behaviours for successful candidates to become a competent insurance practitioner whilst also working towards and completing an industry recognised qualification in the CII Certificate in Insurance
