Reporting Cases

We are asking learners and staff to notify us of any symptoms of Covid-19, or related concerns, under our duty of care to our learners and staff as well as statutory and government requirements. This can now be done easily on our website by clicking here.

The information you provide will be held securely in accordance with current data protection legislation which can be found here.

The information will be shared on a need-to-know basis with our Learner Mentor Team (learners), Human Resources (staff) and our Health and Safety Team in order to best support you, and may also be shared with NHS Test and Trace and public health authorities if we are legally obliged to do so. If you have any concerns about what will happen to the information you have provided on this form please contact please contact our Data Protection Officer at dpo@eastleigh.ac.uk.

I have COVID-19 symptoms

 

DO NOT COME TO COLLEGE – SELF ISOLATE –– BOOK A TEST – USE THE ONLINE FORM TO REPORT THE CASE TO COLLEGE BY CLICKING HERE.

The test comes back negative and you are advised by the College you can return.

I test positive for COVID-19

DO NOT COME TO COLLEGE – SELF ISOLATE – USE THE ONLINE FORM TO REPORT THE RESULTS TO COLLEGE BY CLICKING HERE.

 

You feel better. You can return after 10 days (although only if no fever in past 48 hours) even if you have a cough or loss of taste/smell.  These symptoms can last for several weeks.

I test negative for COVID-19

USE THE ONLINE FORM TO REPORT THE RESULTS TO COLLEGE BY CLICKING HERE. 

The test comes back negative and you are advised by the College you can return.

Someone in my house hold has COVID-19 symptoms or tests positive

You have completed 14 days self-isolation, a test comes back negative, and you are advised by the College you can return.

Someone in your support bubble has symptoms or tested positive for COVID-19

You have completed 14 days self-isolation, a test comes back negative, and you are advised by the College you can return.

You're told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace or the NHS COVID-19 app
