From Monday 2 November we are increasing the areas in which a face mask or covering is required to be worn. A face mask or covering is required to be worn at all times by learners when inside with the only exception being when seated and eating.

The College has remained open throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and since the beginning of the academic year learners have returned to onsite learning for all, or the majority of, their planned hours as per government guidelines which are closely being monitored.
The College calendar has been changed for the first term of the 2020/21 academic year and the College has introduced a two-week October half term break. This break is from Monday 19 to Friday 30 October during which time the College is closed to Learners. The College office will be open from Monday 19 to Friday 23 October (telephone/email enquiries open) and closed from Monday 26 October to Friday 30 October (telephone/email enquiries closed until Monday 2 November).
The first term ends on 11 December and the second term of the 2020/21 academic year is planned to begin on Monday 4 January 2021.

East Avenue Restaurant, Avenue Salons and MOT Testing
East Avenue Restaurant, Avenue Salons and MOT Testing are now open with Covid-19 secure restrictions and subject to Government guidelines.
Gym and Studio
The gym and studio will be closed until further notice. These areas are currently being used for teaching and assessment only. Shower facilities are open for staff and learners.
External bookings and visitors
We are currently not taking external bookings for College facilities until further notice. Visitors are asked to contact the College via phone, email or chosen video call platform wherever possible.
Confirmed COVID-19 Cases at Eastleigh College
Late on Monday 19 October we were made aware of two confirmed COVID-19 cases at the College. We have been able to confirm that neither case is related or connected in any way. The two affected learners are now self-isolating and having worked with the Hampshire Protection Team we have confirmed that the last date for isolation of the two affected learners is Saturday 24 October. VIVID and Eastleigh College collaborate on community event for Get Online Week
To mark the beginning of ‘Get Online Week!’ Eastleigh College joined up with VIVID as part of a campaign to help combat digital and social exclusion across the UK. We hosted free, face to face and socially distanced, sessions for VIVID customers.
