Eastleigh College has moved to online learning, as such campuses are closed to the vast majority of learners. The College remains open (including over the Easter holiday period) for 16-18 learners of key workers, and those learners with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). However, for both categories, learners are asked to stay at home where it is safe to do so. Consistent with public health advice, learners and staff are asked to follow public health guidance and the steps outlined via the 'read more' button.
These programmes give the opportunity to experience a wide range of subjects within realistic working environments. They encourage the individual to develop their self-awareness and confidence in a supportive learning setting, whilst also developing numeracy and literacy.
You will have access to a range of facilities at the College, depending on which course you choose to study. This could include the workshops, and specialist software and equipment, which will help you develop your skills and knowledge for your subject area.
Local businesses support Eastleigh College’s annual ‘Chippy of the Year’ awards celebrating the hard work and successes of the college’s carpentry and joinery students and apprentices.
Carpentry and joinery students from Eastleigh College have helped to save a local charity £12,000 by putting their skills to good use carrying out out essential maintenance and decorating.
