What will I be learning?
You will learn:
Install, test & maintain Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems
Install, test and maintain refrigeration systems
Understand and carry out electrical work on RAC systems and components
Understand Air Conditioning and Heat Pump system installation, testing and maintenance techniques
Apply safe working practices in a building services engineering working environment
F-Gas cat 1 certification
On successful completion you will awarded a C&G L2 Diploma 6090 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.

The course is assessed using practical and theory tests at Eastleigh College.

English and maths at GCSE Grade 4/C or higher is advised.

This course would suit those people wishing to get in to the refrigeration and air conditioning industries or those in the industry looking to achieve a Level 2 qualification without work based evidence and achieve a qualification that demonstrates basic industry competence.

19+ Part Time learner by attending either 2 evenings or one day a week over 2 years or 2 days a week over 1 year.
