What opportunities will this course give me?

More than one person around the UK will suffer from a stroke every five minutes. 1 in 6 of the UK population has some form of hearing loss and 70% of care home residents are living with dementia or severe memory problems.

These - and so many more - statistics are high, highlighting the substantial health problems impacting a huge proportion of the population. For those working in a care environment, it is unsurprisingly vital to have a clear and thorough understanding of these varied health conditions and their implications.

Our Level 2 certificate in Common Health Conditions will teach you how different illnesses impact individuals in separate ways, as well as the ways you can mitigate those effects and improve someones day to day life as much as possible. The course is available fully funded and is designed to fit around your lifestyle, without the need to ever attend College.

Youll leave with a sound understanding of the signs, symptoms and treatments available for these conditions, and the best way to enable people to better manage, monitor and control their condition.
