Opportunities to develop an understanding in how international supply chains operate with opportunities to move onto an apprenticeship in supply chain Logistics. The logistics sector is growing rapidly, it offers a wide variety of careers including project management and digital technology-based roles (including AI and robotics) as well as international development and customer service opportunities.
What will I be learning?
The basics of operational supply chains, communication, automation of supply chains and technologies in the supply chain.
Why is this course for me?
If you want to move into a fast moving adaptive industry with worldwide opportunities this will be for you. Students will take part in collaborative learning and both virtual and face-to-face teaching, with the opportunity to take part in study visits to Rotterdam and work experience placements.
How will my learning be enhanced?
International work experience opportunities, guest industry speakers and visits to ports and distribution networks.
What do I need to sign up?
4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above

New courses launched to re-train 18-19s for high-demand work
Eastleigh College has launched a new range of courses called ‘Bounce Back Technical and Professional Qualifications’ to support 18 and 19-year-olds find work in targeted high-demand sectors like engineering, construction, and social care. These courses are free to applicants as part of the measures announced on 8 July in the Chancellor’s ‘Plan for Jobs’ boost for the post-Covid future. The College is now taking applications for the new courses.
