What does the course involve?
The day will consist of classroom delivery and workshop demonstration activities. Final assessment is by on-line examination.
What is the qualification and how is it gained?
The Level 1 award in Hybrid and Electrically propelled vehicle awareness is designed for people who may come into contact with high voltage vehicles and need to be aware of the hazards associated with them.
The assessment requires the successful completion of an on-line examination.

How long will the course run for?
The course is scheduled to run over 1 day, but may be split into two half day or evening sessions to suit commercial work patterns. Please enquire for further information.

This award is designed for those people, such as paramedics and sales staff, who may encounter high voltage vehicles and require an awareness of their hazards. It contains the knowledge of the dangers surrounding electric vehicles and the precautions to avoid potential injury.
Candidates should dress suitably for entering a workshop area. Pen, paper and a ring binder for note taking and storage.
